What is this, on my 78 kz650 ?? was created by skooterbum4real
I just noticed this on both my bikes today. There's a rubber piece, that has a loop at both ends. One loop has the ground cable running through it, right by the kick start arm, and the rear brake light switch, and the other end / loop is just hanging around, doing nothing.

This piece is approximately 4" - 5" long. It's a soft flexible rubber material with loops at both ends. What's the purpose of this thing ??

The fuel bowl overflow tubes/hoses ran through the loop.

You pay through the nose if you need one. Mine broke but I don't need it with my 33's.
