Got the accordion style fork covers on my 83 KZ1100 and was wondering what stock looking dust cover will fit those forks ? They are rotted and don't really care for the look of that style.

It may not matter, but what 1100 is it?
The 1000-CSR w regular fork dust boots has the same lower fork tubes as the Ltd-Shaft, so the boots should swap.

I agree. Don't buy NOS. They are old and will crack. I bought a pair, not only was I charged $40 a piece when it was supposed to be $40 a pair, they cracked within 7 months. I sent a e-mail to the salesman at known supplier, I got no response and will have to buy a new pair for $22 from z1 parts inc. The other supplier is good but now I'm shopping elsewhere unless I can't get them anywhere else.
I vote with my feet.

Steve did you buy the "Gators" or standard dust boots? I emailed z1 and person writing back didn't know if the standard boots would fit the 1100 shaft.

I bought dust boots for my Z1. The same on the KZ 900. No the 1100 and Z1 boots are NOT interchangeable. My point is DO NOT BUY NOS RUBBER PARTS. They are old and will crack like mine did. I will buy some new ones at z1 parts inc. $22.

I get the NOS rubber parts. They don't have fork boots for a kz1100 listed. I thought you purchased for 1100 not 900.

Actually nobody has barely anything as far as parts listed for it.

I installed NOS dust boots and many other NOS rubber parts on my KZ650 and I had no problems at all. I suspect factors such as when were the NOS parts actually manufactured and how were they stored make a difference as to how well they will work and hold up. Ed

Yea I was just thinking there only $22.00 so if they don't fit I'm not really out that much.

My Z1's won't fit a 1100. NOS is good when you can't get new. If I had known about the new ones, I wouldn't have thrown away $45 a piece for something that was listed at $45 a pair. The salesman talked me into it and double charged me. When I e-mailed about the cracks, I got no response. If I use that site, I'll order on line.
