I thought about doing that but that's where my tools are. Would be the easiest. Run a tee to one fuel line with a valve in between, run it dry then switch to the main tank.

No that wouldn't work. Run the main tank, then switch to the back tank. That way it would refill the main and run the bike.

BMW has it down.
Re-sprocket it for economy. That 41 rear is pretty dang tall...the gear experts here can help I am sure.

UG. I worked on one like that. When it came time for a test ride, it tilted every time I opened the throttle. The crank spins parallel to the bike making it do that. How did the deal with that?

That torque reaction is one of the things I like about airhead BMW's. If you ride one of those bikes for a day or two, you won't even notice it.

Once you get above walking speed, the weird torque effect goes away.
