I would like a 6.5 to 7 gallon tank.
I 'd even entertain the thought of having one made.

I'm looking to tour on my cop bike, and it'd be nice to have a greater range. I'd still want to stop and stretch my legs every 100 miles, but it'd be nice if I didn't have to fill up every time.baldy110 wrote: Why would you need a bigger tank? Good grief guys, I'm usually ready for a break when the stock stank needs a fill up.

Yes, I need breaks at that rate as well, but some of the best roads have few gas stops in Idaho, Montana, Washington, Oregon, and British Columbia. I like to have 150 miles from a full tank. Four gallons is cutting it a bit close. So I simply put a spare gallon in the saddle bag. I have needed it twice. Once in sight of a gas station. That spare gallon also keeps me from fretting about gas while I'm enjoying my ride.

The group I ride with usually stops around 180 miles.
I would be happy to get 160 to 170 miles between fill-ups.

I also thought of replacing the radio box with an add-on fuel cell that I could discuses as a fuel cell.
Something like that would be an option. Right now, I'll focus on get the bike in tip top shape and ready to ride.
