whats max width of tyre for rear on csr1000

it says factory 130 but could i go for 140

You should be able to upsize to a 140 but you're not really gaining much in handling or looks-wise.

the bike will actually handle worse with an oversized tire on too small of a rim. and 10mm is not much different in looks.

ok folks got me some alloy wheels, been cleaning them it was most relaxing to do ,having avon venoms fitted next week ,will be keeping my spoked ones thoue ,if i fancy a change B)

OK, do you have them WTF??? 16" X 19" weird D.I.D. nice aluminum rims with THOSE weird 44 or48 or 46 or WTF ever spoke pattern? Really?
