fork spacing difference between KZ1000J & P

I have an '82 KZ1000J bike, I bought a name brand SuperBrace (very nice) fork brace, I believe the spacing is for the Police bike, which is wider. I would like to know if any one knows the actual differences between the two models. Q What is the head angle on a Police bike? Q what is the trail? Q what length is the steering head bolt. I can give measurements to any one who needs the J bike fork spacing, steering head angle, and trail

I have a KZP and the spacing distance is 220mm. 56mm top of leg stanchions. These are my measurements so someone who knows better could correct me. Where on their site is a brace for the KZP? These guys are right down the street from me.
