No, on a long trip I saw the chain was coming apart. I bought a standard chain bacause the sprockets were showing some wear. Because of that Chi Com chain I didn't want to waste a $150 O ring DID chain. I will have to make do with a DID standard chain until I can afford the whole package around $350-400. Live and learn.

Sorry Steve, that jab was not meant for you. I was just speaking in general.
I used to use Diamond Industrial 60 chain on the street, only because I cut it off a 100 foot roll at work. averaged 2 chains a summer.

That's a lot of chains to use in 4 months. I tried the 530 double chain in the 70's. Looked great. Sold by Hollywood Kawasaki. Didn't last a year. One of the pins backed out. I've run them until I had to take out a link and the sprocket lost teeth. Never try that now but it says a lot about a 630 chain. I call those days my terrible twenties. Lucky.

Thanks for pointing out that this product is again being carried at Lowes, which imo is an excellent performing product for a very reasonable price.
Good Fortune!

$350-$400?? How is that? You can get a high quality name brand o ring chain and sprockets for about $200.

Look up a 630 O ring chain and sprockets. I have 16 counter shaft instead of 15 and 35 rear. At 55 I'm at 3500 RPM. I loose a little on take off but it's smoother at cruising speed. If you can find one for less, please let me know. I bought mine at Chaparral.

www.woolproducts.com.au/proseries.php?id=did-525-vx-pro-street
Most other online shops were @$200 to 240.
The post would be the killer though.
Steve have you got a pic of that double chain setup - never seen one properly.

I don't have a pic. That was 30 or so years ago. The only double chain I could find was a 520 American made. It wouldn't fit. i think I got taken, after all it was Hollywood. We call it Hollyweird at the time.

So did they have a real wide sprockets or doubles ones ?
Reckon Hollyweird would not be one of my holiday destinations - bit too fast.
