Upgrade KZ440 Swingarm/Front End

11 Dec 2013 13:51
#615309
I have a 1982 KZ440 cafe/fighter project that I would like to update the swingarm and front end to a modern setup. Anyone possibly point me in the right direction for what might be donor candidates with reasonable efforts? I would like to go monoshock arm with reverse forks. Hoping for someone that may have done this....

The hard part with a monoshock will be keeping your wheelbase the same as stock. Most that I have come across are longer than the stock KZ650 swingarm by 3 or more inches.

any of the cbr250r stuff might be a good choice,or 250 ninja stuff .prolly anything up to 600 would be fine.

zx636 front end wheels and a custom swingarm would be really cool
