Will the KZ900 seat fit the 900 ltds and 1000 ltds. If so what would be needed to fit my 80 KZ1000 ltd?

I know the grab bars are different.
1980 KZ1000 LTD-B4(MK II engine) - Progressive suspension, MTC pistons, Dynojet Stage III, all wear items replaced, WFO paint scheme(1978), etc..

Past bikes- 2 1976 Kz900's, 5 1975-76 Honda CB750's, Honda 500 -4, Honda 250, Honda 125, Honda 100, Suzuki RM 250, Honda XL350, Kawasaki KLR 650, etc..

Nevermind, I just ordered a repro 76-80 KZ900-1000 seat for it.

that is your best bet.

there are some small differences but usually you can swap seats between 900's/and pre 1980 1000's(except mk11,z1r,shaft drive) fairly well.

According to z1parts.net the 76-80 900 and 1000s KZ or Ltd will fit each other.
