Frame Bracing was created by SeattleKZ
If I ever get my bike running right my plan is to brace the frame and swap the suspension for modern stuff. If/when I do that I was wondering if there is any info about proven frame bracing that people on here might have used or what Kawasaki did back in 77-78 when they were winning the Superbike Championships.

This is in reference to a 1976 KZ900

I know this has been covered before on here. Z1Enterprises sells a frame brace kit or if you're handy you can make your own. A search in the forum should come up with some diagrams and pics of what others have done.

there are for sure many threads with this discussion giving important do's and dont's like"make sure you have engine or at least cases bolted into the frame and tightened up before welding bracing" here are a few angles...also i put many frame brace shots and plans and diagrams into the the many pages of the kz dragbike-streetbike thread here on kzrider....those pictures are a history of the differnt ways to brace these frames from the last decades...really worth a look
