Looking at purchasing sidecovers from a 78 kaw 1000 LTD....
not 100 percent sure that they will fit my non LTD frame.... (77 KZ 1000 "A" )
could someone please confirm that they will interchange and fit?

Depending upon how nice you are looking for, I would plan on getting the body set repainted. Even if you find all the pieces in the same color, chances are they are not going to match. Kawasaki's paint quality control wasn't the greatest to start with. There's a story about a customer losing a side panel back in the day. The dealer ordered 6 new replacements in that color. None of them matched. Plus, the body pieces faded at different rates and places with sun exposure. Focus on finding pieces that fit and repaint when you have a complete set. Good luck

I've been using The Old Kaw Man on line off and on. He has a good site and his parts are reasonable. Been burned too many times on eBay. Check out his site. Very interesting.
