kz1100 shaft swingarm removal was created by rokit_armor
Just picked up this bike this morning and i'm doing a frame-off rebuild of everything. Never dealt with shaft bikes before. According to the parts diagram there are two swingarm shafts i need to remove from either side, but i have no idea how to do so. They may just be rusted in place(like everthing else lol) but i can't get them to budge.

Hey i just got divorced I can rebuild a bike in my kitchen :)

And here is the part in question

Got em finally. Soaked em overnight in WD40, found a bolt that fit the middle threaded hole, screwed it all the way in put vicegrips on the end and used the claw end of my hammer to pry it out. Ghetto gear puller style. They were way rusted in there, no wonder they wouldn't budge- WD couldn't even penetrate more than 1/4" in. Time to send the frame off for powdercoating!
