lowering bike.
25 Mar 2013 14:09
How easy is it to lower my bike. I have a 81 csr 10000 and i think an inch or more would make it more comfy to ride cause i am at a height where i can barely sit flat footed.

When I first got mine I put 12.5" shocks on the rear and pushed the forks up about an inch through
the trees helped allot i only have a 28" inseam so i'm a little vertically challenged also LOL

That works. I put 11 in. shocks on mine to make the swing arm level and put custom trees raked 4 degrees plus a leading axle set of forks from a 1981 csr 1000. Works great but the only pipe I can run is the marving 4 into 1 for ground and cornering clearance. Like the feel, ride, and look
Am addicted to Z1's and kz 900's have an el camino, fly rc helicoptors and am strung out on horsepower.

My bike is in storage. Does anyone know what the stock rear shocks are eye to eye?

Is there an air filler on the forks? adjuster on the rear?
