Is this GSXR Swingarm/Wheel going to work?

I am planning on running a 06-09 GSXR 600/750 rear swinger/wheel combo on my 1980 KZ1000 sometime down the road. I am buying all of the parts so I have them here. I just purchased the rear wheel and it comes with the rotor/sprocket. I noticed that these are running 525 pitch sprocket and I just converted my KZ to the 530 chain and sprockets. I really don't want to have to convert to the 525 (if even possible) to run this set up. Does anyone know if you can get 530 pirch rear sprockets for the newer (06-09) Gsxr 600/750's??? :pinch:

You can run a 520/525 sprocket with 530 chain,just need to center chain up on sprocket is all.
Make sure you buy a new rear sprocket to go with the chain :)

Z1 Enterprises has a bunch of 530 sprockets. Not sure they have that one, though they might be able to get it for you. Worth a call. Here's your sprocket dimensions.

Wireman that's why I was hoping they made 530 pitch for the GSXR wheel. I already have a new 530 chain and sprockets for the original setup. Just hoping all I would need to do is get a 530 rear sprocket for the new (gsxr) wheel. I have done a little research and found nothing so far.

So are you saying I could use a 530 chain with 530 front sprocket and a 525 rear?!

Take this;

www.jtsprockets.com/catalogue/model/5832

And search for the same dimensions on another bike on the website but for 530.
