Certainly looks like it should work. I really like the standard looking cartridge forks as well as it being natural finish. Good job getting it complete, less faffing around getting the wheel to work with the brakes etc. etc. Did you get the rear set-up too?

I do have the complete mono shock swing arm with wheel brake axle etc I will get pix of it in the next few days......
I will get out my tape measure and start checking....

leon , I know it's shorter but I haven't measured overall length yet. It's going on a 75 z1
I know I have to do something for the upper clamp as it's cast with clip-on's . maybe It can be modded or i may be able to use a bandit upper  .
I haven't figured it all out yet..... It's supposed to be warmer here tomorrow . maybe I can measure tomorrow......

That swap looks pretty normal, I think you did good! I bet those 43mm are longer than the super bike 50+mm stuff as well, another bonus! Fender looks "usable" as its nice and small yet another bonus! Last bonus to the 43mm its a lot easier to solve the headlight mount issues, lots of 43mm headlight mounts.

You will notice on the bike in the pic they have a custom upper triple clamp, now that could be just cause, couldn't modify the existing to support handle bars or the original hit the gas tank (worst of the three cause then you are forced to change).

That bike keeps popping up. Someone has to own it on here. Very well done. I'm taking that picture and my seat pan to an upholsterer.
