I have purchased a 1989-1996 suzuki katana front wheel. I just realized that the kz front axle is too large to fit the katana bearings. Has anyone done this swap before?

Need some info on what were the modifications done to get it on. I have stock kz1000 forks and front axle. I was told I need to machine down the kz front axle to fit through the katana wheel... Thanks

I would avoid machining the spindle as you would probably cut in to the threads too.
Best to find some bearings that have the o'd of the suzuki hub and the i'd of the kawa spindle.

As stated above, a bearing swap will be ideal and easiest.

I swapped the complete front end before.just saying might make sense for your application, could always go back to original when you want.
