C'mon, why are you guys dragging your feet ;) My brakes aint on. Whats a safe rpm for cruising?

1000 rpm under red line ought to provide an ample margin of safety.

The 24 hour speed-record guys probably stay at or near red line most of the time.

What's the desired cruising speed?

I ride my Concours on any long trips. The A is used on poker rides and such.About 200 mikes in a day at 60-70. The other problem is there is not gas in every town around here so as speed goes up range will go down. Might just switch to a 14 and try that first.
