How about single sided? You'd be the first kid on your block to have one on a Kawasaki!

What these boys are gently trying to say is -

1. It depends on what your ultimate goal is.

2. Use the search function on this website. There are about 6.5 zillion threads about this very subject.

I saw this front end on display at a bike show and found it unique. Here is some other info. Of course the rear swingarm is also single sided, but the what I think is really cool is if you look carefully you'll see they use a single sided paddock bike stand.

And you know what's really cool? If you go to 750turbo.com and look around, you will find at least one Kawasaki 750 Turbo with a single sided swing arm, and a Kawasaki 750 Turbo with a hub steered front wheel, single sided, designed and built by the owner, complete with a huge thread on the construction.

And all on Kawasaki's

The beginning, on page one of a 15 page thread.

And more pics of it are at 750turbo.com gallery six

And, for anyone with a thirst for punishment, here is an example of suspension conversion gone wild. VFR400 rear end, GPZ motor and GTS1000 front end and frame.

Hub center steering is what's going on. Google it, there's lots of interesting info for those who are suitably inclined.

In seriousness, D_howard247, there are lots of front ends that can be made to work. Most are similar amounts of work. Some have benefits beyond just appearance. So what are you trying to gain by swapping the front end? BTW, I have 95 GSXR750 on mine. Love the ability to adjust, stiffness, and the brakes are worth the swap alone. It did require some machine work, and some other modifications to make it fit.

From the 750 Turbo 15 page thread, the very first post"

After much searching I was able to get my hands on an original Foale machine, a 350LC based HCS racer in various boxes...

If you want to see the real deal with GPz750 Turbo cases, you need to go to the thread.

The green bike with the funny front end actually uses a production front end, the Yamaha GTS1000, they were only made for a year or two and didn't sell very well because of the unconventional front end.

I drool over the Tesi 3D, that bike is just so cool!
