What are you going to do with the bike? Cruiser, canyon carver, drag bike, or just want a better ride?
Generally speaking, get the latest front end you can find that is the same length/height as your stock one. Unless you're a glutton for punishment

hmm well i do love carvin the bluffs down here at school.... my end goal is to have an 810 thrown into my 650 frame.. better handling, and power when i need it
but in general... just a better ride. its horrible now, im sure i could improve it greatly with a fork oil change

any late model frontend that has as close to the same overall(top of leg to bottom of tire)length as stock that is possible to find.then we can do a bearing or stem swap and bolt on new supension brakes wheels and tire selections.with the swap to modern 17 inch wheels we lose some overall height and it seems most sportbike frontends have shorter legs also.
zx9,zx6,gxsr6/7/1000,r1 have all been used.
let us know what you find.

2000 Suzuki GSX750 Katana front end will go on with a simple bearing swap and filing the bottom of the boss on the top clamp. 17" tire, better brakes, same length as stock, much better forks, what more could you ask for
Want a KZ650 minus the motor that already has a GSXR1000 front and monoshock rear? My nephew has decided he needs money more than the bike.
Anyone have any pics of the sbjones bike? That's the one, and it's buried in the storage shed so I can't take pics.
EDIT:
Found a couple of pics

531blackbanshee , LOVE the red forks! Is an extended swingarm a must to get that rear wheel on?
