I believe 89-92 Suzuki GSXR swingarms are supposed to be a real close fit.

I never mounted one myself but I think it's a matter of either shaving a little material off the arm or inside of frame or adding a spacer to take up space to make it work. It's supposed to be close so it shouldn't be hard to do. Not sure about the size of the swingarm pivot bolt though. Will probably need some work on that also. Couple guys on this site used them...have to be in archives somewhere. Have you tried searching?

You can also look at the ZRX1100 and 1200 swingarm. They fit in a KZ also. Most any arm you use will not fit perfectly. It will be a matter of using shims to make it fit snug or shaving a little off the arm or frame. The swingarms off a ZX6/7 that some are using need to have the frame widened..I believe...unless the narrowed the arm mount. Couple guys here used those arms recently so it shouldn't be too hard to find their build on here.

Here are a couple builds you can check out. Try to find the build by OMR on here. Maybe he will chime in and post a shortcut to his build. He had a lot of good information in his posts.

Simplest way would be to use a dual shock arm built for a KZ. One built by D&G or another company. A 180 or 190 tire fit in those and is just a matter of getting chain run in line. Probably a little more expensive but simpler. I believe A guy on here named Les Holt is engineering a bolt-on kit to mount a mono-arm built just for a KZ. Might be awhile before he has them ready to sell but it's another idea. You can check out his build on here also. Lots of possiblities, just do some searches, read some back topics and ask questions. Many guys here have done this so I'm sure some of them will chime in sooner or later.

anyway the suzuki gs and gsxr swingarms tend to fit the easiest width wise anyway.

Gsxr's are realy easy fit just need a spacer for the pivot bolt and 2 outer spacers one on each side (3.5mm) to center the swingarm.
