Mags on a 73 z1?

Does your brake rotor have 4 or 6 bolts? 6 bolts would eliminate the possibility that it is a KZ wheel.

The bikes not near by for me to count the bolts.

Corbin seats are very nice aftermarket seats. No hurry on checking the bolts on the front. There should be some type of stamping on the wheels somewhere that will help you ID them. If you like your front and want to get a close match on the rear, a KZ mag will do nicely. You would have to paint it grey to match the front because they are aluminum (silver) and black.

The front is a much better looking rim. I may ditch them both for something old school that matches.

do you like mags or wires? I have a set of wires 16" rear with drum brake (new spokes, needs trued) and a 19" front wire with a '76 KZ900 hub that needs spokes. The rims are painted on the outer lips candy green like the frame of my bike (avatar pic). They could easily be stripped and finished however you'd like. If you like mags, you could fit a set of Morris or Lester wheels to them (if you can find them, usually they are very $$$). I opted for the KZ mags from a '80 KZ750G Twin and they fit with very minor work and look nice.

I read about being able to use the kz750 rims with out a lot of problems. I haven't had a.chance to see how they look, I'm leaning towards a mag because I don't want to have to worry blowing the spokes out when I am drag racing.

This is the wheels that are now on my bike. This is the previous bike they were on. I'm awaiting a new sprocket for the rear and I'll take better pics of what they look like on a Z1 so you can see if you like that option.

Sent my homie to look at the rim, says kaw or enki one one it. He mumbles a lot but I was pretty sure I saw that it was a stocker.

are you looking for these rims? i have front and back available.

If it says Kaw or Enkei, it is a stock KZ rim. It looks to have been repainted gray. The paint scheme on the wheels in the picture I posted is the stock paint setup.
