I'm not sure but u may want to check the brake drum diameter, Im not sure those are the same, looks to be a different diameter so u might wanna check on/buy that too

According to kawasaki.com parts diagrams, the 750G drum brake does not interchange with anything else. Brake shoes interchange with 550, 650, and 750 twins.

1983 kz750K1 had a rear drum brake and mags. Don't know if it will fit, though.

No problem on the brake drum interchange because I'm going to buy the set Steell has pictured above from him. Since the brake drum is already installed on the wheel, all that needs to interchange is the brake linkage from the drum to the brake pedal and I'm pretty sure that is a no-brainer universal part ;)Anyone need a '73 Z1 hub/brake/cush drive? I won't need it any more :)

Looks like the same seat I have (my avatar picture is my bike before disassembly and paint). Mine is off a '76 LTD I'm told.

From everything I've read and seen, I believe it to be true. The original source was 3rd party, so therefore not reliable. I try to be diligent in my research and the cover I ordered for a '76 KZ900LTD fits perfectly :cheer:

Update...I got the mags from Steell's '80 KZ750G and after some minor mods, they will work perfectly on my old Z1. The rear axle/spacer is a perfect fit, no mods needed. The rear sprocket was a 38T, which would've made it take off like a rocket, but I'd have topped out around 100mph. I swapped it to a 41T (530 chain conversion was done). The rear brake actuator rod had to be swapped with my z1 rod, which was a direct bolt on. The rear drum brake is slightly smaller than the Z1, but not a major concern since it doesn't get used a ton. The torque arm bolts right up. The front wheel I swapped on my '76 KZ900 single disc rotor (4 bolt) and a hybrid axle set up consisting of the z1 main axle shaft and spacer, KZ900 speedo gear drive and spacer and KZ900 outer axle nut. One side sits flush with the fork bottoms (Z1 side) and I had the KZ900 outer axle nut machined down about 1/4" so it would snug up to the outer fork leg. I've mocked everything up and it should work perfectly. I'm in the process of a major cleaning/polishing of the wheels and rear brake hardware and am awaiting a few parts from Z1E to get the front end back together and then I'll post pics. Steell-thanks, these wheels really cleaned up and will look PERFECT for what I'm going for.

Also, the wheels originally had KZ1000 (I think) discs bolted up to them than I'm not going to use and I also bought a GPZ1100 master cylinder and brake splitter as well as a right side GPZ 750 caliper. All of this is available on the cheap if anyone is interested. PM me for more details/price so I don't clog the post.
