DOM frame tubing

hey guys, i am thinking of ordering my tubing from a online source. there are so many diff od, and id measurements. can anyone recommend what i would need? i notice the kz frame has 2 diff sizes. seems like 1" and 1.25" thanks.

Uuuuh....

Well, depending on your welding skill, I would just measure what you are removing and match it.

The manual likely wont tell you frame tube diameters and wall thickness.

new mono shock mounts/brackets from tube. some frame stiffening in the front of the bike. where i cut the frame...example the bottom rear motor mount tube, replace it.....and so on...

kz1k. the stock frames in that area are about 1.125"(28mm)outside diameter x .079"(2mm)wall.
From the link you posted, either the 1" or 1.12" OD and .083 wall A513 Type 5 tube will work for your upper shock mount application. Which ever is the better price/availability would be my choice.

thanks jim. so stock is 28mm...isnt there 2 diff sizes on the frame?

i dont see a .083 wall. i see .83.

really, .83 wall is almost 7/8 inch, that isnt possible on 1.125 tube...
