best way to make a pattern to drill discs?

yes, I would use the drilled disc as a templete, clamp it together then carefully mark the circles with a texter then take your time centre punching buy hand, using a drill press drill a pilot hole #5/16 sharp/new bits with some oil, then take outb to finished diameter with a new bit " must be always sharp" perhapes have 2 or 3 on hand, plenty of pressure and oil at slow to med speed and trial several speeds

if you were 1/8th out with the center punching, "I" would'nt notice it,cheers
