i'm trying to hardtail a 76 kz 400 and would like to butt in on this thread to ask did anyone know if Lt.DAN stretched his swing-arm on the bobber he built a few years back. Is it possible(yeah)but is it practical??

uglee... hardtailing isn't practical at all. neither is stretching a swingarm. if i wanted a practical, i would have bought a 50cc scooter. :)

went with the factory guys hardtail for a triumph....anybody know about the issues of the axle slots being bigger.What can you do to fix it??????

A long time ago in a place far far away (So-Cal) a company called Santee made a frame called a Ridgid Arm similar to these konged frames. Fit the KZ or the CB750. Used stock front end, stock shocks,swing arm, brakes. Pretty cool diamond style gas tank,and for the KZ a fake oil tank that held all the electrics, all for the low price of $350. Should of got one then.
