steel brake line kits..any recomended makers? was created by trianglelaguna
No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationSo i am gonna order a kit for my MKII project and wanna get a decent deal as well as try and find a good kawasaki experienced maker...they all say they have data for most models and i assume they will know the amount to guess to shorten a tad for a U.J.M that runs superbike bars.....this should be simple task ....
also i want to retain the layout of single front to splitter and duals to the disks ...and not do the dual lines from the master...this too is easy and should only be 30 or so more for the thrid lines fittings and makeing...

any links would be great as i am ready to buy today.....

i p.m'd these guys and was hoping for a gold set..waiting for reply...

anyone in our circles to try also...thanks ....Craig

Jpcycles sells some chrome lines and Dennis Kirk has a decent selection.

Gold?????????? My brother put a gold chain on his RD350 and the fellas call it the "screaming bling machine" they even emulate the two stroke sound. Bling Bling Bling Bliiiiing Bliiiiing Bliiiiing. Its funny when they all get going and raz him about the gold chain.

I recommend Spiegler. They will make pretty much anything you want, in any length you want.

You might try ordering cables and lines in "GPz" lengths, or order the GPz parts where interchangeable. Thats what I have done on my KZ550's that have lowered bars. The bike pictured has all GPz cables and upper brake hose. Not sure how well they will show up in the pic, but they all fit perfectly.

Do you plan on trying to match that color that is on the wheels in your picture ? I like that color better than the lighter golds that are common.

pretty 550 my man....real sharp..i thought it was MKII for a second...good tip on the gpz1100 lengths..i will keep it in mind on snipe watching and as for the rim color it would be hard to get close without some info,,,i can look at a chart though and eye it as i know what shade i would pick, that is down the road though...after the bike is re-done as far as i can ..then colors...next yr most likely....mjg15 wrote:

I buy the hose and fittings from the local Earl's dealer, and I build them myself. Its the only way I have found to get them to fit and look good. Check with your local hotrod and race car outlets, thats how I found my local dealer.
I run one line to the right caliper, and then a short line over to the left caliper. Triumph and Suzuki do it that way now.
