I placed a order for a fork brace today. It is guaranteed to take 2 seconds of my lap times, they just won't tell me what track. :-)

My bike handles great for what it is. I can cruise all day at 100mph an not a wobble to be found. I just have so much money in this bike that it would be a shame not to keep trying to improve the handling.

At 100mph it seemed very comfortable and not at all hammered or over stressed lots of throttle left. At that speed I was just keeping pace with traffic in the fast lane.

I would never think of taking twists at 100mph. I do them at 110mph on city streets and I have my Donner card all sighed. lol.

Got a few dollars for the old girl and want to try to improve the handling.

If I had big money I would buy a nice new bike But I don't so I will try to improve on this bike. Which did not get great reviews for handling.

OK, I gotta ask. When a fork seal goes out all that happens is the oil and whatever air is in the fork leaks out. Nothing else changes, the fork may not rebound back as it should but unless there is another structual problem with the suspension how can the wheel deflect to one side. The forks are connected together by the wheel assembly.

You said it yourself. The air leaks out. The air stiffens the fork dampening. Just like the oil will. The oil's only purpose is NOT just for dampening the rebound. If that is your impression than that is faulty thinking.
