The more i think about it maybe not...
But, i might be interested in a set at the right price... seems to be the killer in the deal, the price.

Sorry guys-
I wimped out on the project and bout a set of GSXR rearsets off of ebay. The more I worked on it the more I realized that each model would need a different backing plate and therefore not very cost effective.
Here is what the GSXR rearsets look like

Looks great, Henry. What model/year of bike did you take those off of? At first, they look like they bolted right on, but I guess that is just a testament to your skill. ![:D :D](/bigsmile.gif)

I believe it was a 1997 GSXR750. I had to drill two holes and mount them with bolts.

Henry, what did you do to set up your rear brake light switch?
I just bought a set of VF1000R pegs and a ZX600 master cylinder and resevoir I'm going to set up. Just need to figure out the brake light as well, as my front brake light doesn't work and I NEED the back one to work.

Rob. I got a inline pressure switch at the local Kawi dealer in Hamilton. It comes with a longer banjo bolt so it can just be butted up against the banjo fitting on the rear calipers hose, then cut the original switches connector off and soldered it on. Bobs your uncle.(no pun intended).Works great.

FWIW....this is what front pegs and linkage, and rear M/C from an '05 xz6r look like when put on a 77 kz1000a. Only "glitch" is shift pattern reversed....now GP style ( 1 up 4 down). Will confess THAT took a little "getting used to".

Hey indykaw, would your shifter work normally if you inverted the splined fitting at the shifter? Just curious.
