if there is a hole in the tube you would pretty much know about it right away it sounds to me like you may have aproblem with the valve stem. get them to check that sometimes they can leak. causing the tire to slowly go flat

Either that or they are trying to save installing a new tube by patching the old one. Patching is risky at best.

321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.
