Now to the question. How do you plan on riding? if you only ride at 8/10's your frame is fine as stock. Too many guys blame the frame when it's worn out shocks or weak front springs. That is true if you know that, one, the frame is straight, two, all the bearings are good and three, the tires are not cupped. Misaligned wheels or loose spokes also make our bike feel strange. You didn't say what bike you are riding.

I'm really just doing it for fun at this point. Plus when the appocolypse comes and I have to fight zombies for gasoline and spare parts I want to have the added safety and support of a re-enforced frame.
