That sounds like exactly the set up that my bike had. I'll tell you a little piece of not-well-published information about the V&H pipe: they don't make any power...at all. Mine was a gorgeous chrome one...looked beautiful on the black bike, but it didn't make any power difference at all. Looked good. Sounded good. The power-pack made a difference...I think it added 2 bHp on top (maybe 3?); I don't know that I could feel it, but I knew it was there and that made me happy.
All in all, my 11 was a really good bike. Big and heavy (well, no heavier than my Z1-R...but compared to the bikes of the day...), held the road really well, instant power, dependable like a Timex. Nothing bad to say about that bike at all; never let me down and we did lotsa miles.
Brian at Extreme Cycles in Topeka has a turbo-charged ZX11 and he's somewhat of an expert if you ever get to a point that you're thinking "?".
Anyway, post pics when you get it!

4 of them are in the gallery and i put those in the first week i was on the site three are in the z1 section and the other is in the kz1000 section that one is my hillclimber and the other three are two of my drag bikes and the other is my red 1974 street bike taken at sturgis two years ago. i'm working about a thousand miles from home so i can't get pictures of the others in my fleet until i get home and besides i can't seem to get any of my other pictures to shrink down enough to get them posted or i would but i only have a few shots of them up here anyway.
