Need tires for z1 with Lesters......

110/90 is just gay looking Sorry, I don't particularly like fat tires, but smaller than original just doesn't cut it at all either.

I just like the "period correct" look(at least on this '75 z1). Got another bike thats getting 6" rim, etc. It seems 110mm is larger than 4" so how can it be smaller? All I want is a near stock repacement tires so it handles good.

Patton, Thanks for the pics! That size will work for sure with me. Do you know if the Lester front rim is a 2.15 or 1.85? Is that the V&H race baffle too? I need me one of them!

I run a 100/90-19 on the front and a 130/80-18 on the rear. I have Lesters on my 73 Z1.

I'm all for the period correct look, but a 110 is just not right. Not even close to the original 4.00-18. Just stay 4.00-18. The 110/90 is 6/10" smaller diameter than a 4.00. May vary by manfacturer, but that 6/10" is enough that it just isn't right looking. I don't know why it bugs me being only 6/10" but it does.

Well our tires came in yesterday! Man, that was quick from CA to NJ! If anyone needs tires, look into using Chaparral......was free shipping too! Anyway, couldn't wait to mount them, so I did the rear last night. Took me a total of 10 min. with the rim already off and using a coats 220 tire machine. I'm 100% happy with the 110 rear tire.......

Tires are Kenda Challengers......rear was $44.85 & front was $41.85. Tubes were $8.99 each. I bought other stuff too but shipping is FREE on orders over $100! Can't beat that! Even if you bought the same tires and tubes, the total with shipping is $104.68.

Look like nice tires to me......got to be better than the 20 yr old Dunlops on the z1 now. LOL
