Trunk on Ebay

Does anyone know if this will fit my bike? I can't seem to find any information about this company or if they sold adapter kits. Maybe someone will chime in. Thanks alot.

PM sent.

I looked for a VERY long time on ebay before I found one that fits my 1100. Set up an ebay search, "KZ1100 rack" or some such, and it will email you every time someone lists a matching item.

Also watch for bikes being parted out, they often have racks and/or sissy bars.

For possible consideration, am wondering whether forward rack holes might be attached at oem turn-signal locations, requiring turn-signals to be relocated.

Just a thought.

Good Luck! :)

I'm thinking about getting it just to see. Worst case I sell it for what I paid for it.

now your thinking like a true collector of kawasaki parts...welcome....you'll have a great colection someday:woohoo: i think that box has mount bolts that someone had drilled holes thru the fiberglass tail pice to mount...but it does show a seatlock mounted tab and if your seatlock looks in the same frame area as the kz1000j in the picture????????????????????????Killbert wrote:

The mounting locations on the KZ1000j look to be pretty different than mine. I would have to make some brackets to get it to work I'm sure.

there must be a guy with one who will chime in or maybe the archive and your model name for a search...you can get a backrest for sure it's just trying to find the hidden info...have you tried one of the big catolog co...like dennis kirk...they might be able to tell you a brand on the phone and you would then maybe have a manufactures name and model # to do other searches with...that would be a cool bike to have a short nice padded back rest like on the early v-max...google that v-max one and see some pics...good luck
