Machined up a new clamp for my master cylinder

I figured i would show you guys the new clamp i made. I put 600 ninja brakes on my 550 last year but one thing i forgot was that the ninja mirrors mounted to the fairing. There was no hole to mount the mirror to so i designed this up in SolidWorks and then machined it on the CNC i have at work. The first pic is before sanding out the machining marks. Now i only need to make it black before mounting on the bike!

Very nice! Must be nice to have tools like that to play around with, I'm envious.

good job on the clamp.the only thing that kinda sucks is that it looks so right that once you paint it most people won't realise that it is a custom piece.keep up the good work.

Thanks guys!

After it is black i think i will etch some sort of lettering on the curved portion between the bolt heads. That will make it stand out a little. I will post a pic when that is done.

Well it is now black. I had it teflon hardcoated. Then i used a .020 ball end mill and etched the KZR.
