The GT 501's are here!!!!!!!

Well the UPS guy just showed up and delivered my gt 501's, they are even nicer than the pictures. They look like a killer tire. Wouldnt ya know it, the last time i used my camera i left it on. But i will post a pic when my camera charges up.

The GT501's are nice tires. They are fairly grippy. I wish the front had a little more of a semi-ribbed pattern - I think it would help with high-speed stability on our older bikes. That's what's on my turbo bike.

Before the GT501's I had some very nice sticky Pirelli tires - but I killed the rear tire in less than 3,000 miles.

I do run D404's on smaller bikes - they are decent value for money - fairly inexpensive, they wear OK. But I wouldn't run them on a performance bike.

Hey jeff, Ya im glad i ended up going with the 501's i think i will like them. Are you going to be at mid ohio next year? If you are, i cant wait for you to check out my bike. It will look killer by then.

i go through more rear tires than fronts,but i tend to keep the front wheel hovering 3-6" depending on my mood at the time.best tires i ever had were metzler me99s but i never see em anymore :S
