well i havn't mentioned this until now because ive done a lot of sulking and drinking in my shed looking at my bike.

but the title company returned both applications for a title.
it seems because my bike is a uk model it only has 12 digits in its vin number and they wont help me!

on the 23rd Dec i contacted the local state troopers asking about getting a mass assigned vin number so i could get a title and reg, he said he would be in touch!

on the 14th feb i decided he had forgotten me and called back left a message,
he called me back,
i refreshed his memory regarding my bike and he said fax him the paperwork from uk,

reg,
bill of sale,
letter of conformaty from kawasaki,
customs paperwork,
shipping paperwork,
inspection paperwork.
i also told him i had close to 8,000 bucks in receipts going back to 93 when i got the bike he said hold on to those for now...

that was 2 weeks ago...
i called him again on Monday with no reply yet!
still hasn't called me back
still don't have a title.
feeling kinda hard done by right now...
is it to much to ask i guess so.

if there is anyone out there who is wiling or able to help me get a title or has a idea of how to get one pls let me know,

short of buying a new frame and title off ebay im lost for idea's and just keep drinking beer in my shed sighing.......

in mass it would still need to be seen by the same state cop and assigned a mass vin number

that is what i may have to do bro.
but it would be a crime to hide my vin number because its proof its a original elr chassis but im close to just buying a frame i just want this to be the only option i have...
