Replacement fuse box

I have searched here, but not really found an answer to what I have been thinking of doing.  The wiring on my KZP isn't that bad, not like some I have read about, fortunately.  However, I do not like glass fuses and would prefer to swap the fuse box out for a blade style fuse box.  I can do some electrical work.  I've added a supplemental fuse block to my RZR side by side and replaced the glass fuses on my Gen 1 KLR.  However, that was a plug and play affair.  Aside from purchasing a fuse block, how involved is it to replace the fuse box?  Thank you.

If you have a wiring diagram, test meter and a fuse-box that will physically fit then it should be quite straightforward

Complexity of install will depend on how you mount the fuse block. If you need longer wires to get to your mounting point it can be a bit more involved to replace or splice wires.

I also prefer to use blade style fuses and I have used this type of fuse block. I usually get the 6 gang so i have extra circuits available for accessories and typically I will install a circuit with a relay for power straight to the coils.

Thank you fellas.  I guess the question is, is all I have to do, as far as wiring goes, is just lengthen the wires, if that is needed?  And, yes, I have a Clymer manual a Power Probe, but no fuse box yet.

what're the chances that there's an oem blade fuse box that can be installed. it's something I've wondered about. some of the fuse boxes are actually a junction box which I assume have some electronic circuitry. but the blade fuse box on an early zg1000 concours just looks like a plain fuse box. would need a wiring diagram and manual to figure out some of them. a couple of others: ZR550 and early ZX600.

edit: doesn't appear to have a cover. fuse box is possibly tucked behind some cowling.
