How to de-pin a Kawasaki 4 pin connector

Looking for advice on how to remove the male pins on a 4 pin Kawasaki connector . I have several of those connector tools but can't seem to break the code. Perhaps a special tool thats not in my collection , or maybe I'm just not holding my mouth in the right spot.
Any insight is appreciated.

This might seem unorthodox and goofy but made a tool out of an old Craftsman long needle nose. I take apart quite a few of those connector blocks, all the colors, ha. This tool i've had for well over a decade and takes me about 5sec to remove each male spade without damaging the plastic connector. Noteworthy and a Cautionary. Jamming wrong crap down the side between male and plastic you can distort the square portion of the plastic that keeps the male terminal in place. Resulting in re-assembly "thinking" it's seated till you plug it into the other side. The male will push out and you will have to manually push the wire/terminal back into place. I also run a utility blade down the seam where it's rounded, look close you'll see it. By doing this you "slightly expand the diameter of the male portion for better connectivity on those "tinned brass" terminals.

A few pics to help you grasp what i was talking about. Curbs the dreaded "voltage drop" between male and female connectors. There's a joke hanging there in human terms but won't elaborate.       The blade is just a cut in half with a dremel cheap razor blade. There's Your Chicken Dinner, ha.

I use a small paperclip flattened at the end. It bends down the tiny tang allowing it to be pulled out easily. If it won't slide out you have to try again. Force is your enemy. I bought some extra connectors but they aren't copper plated like the OEM ones. 🙄

So is it the two side wings on the terminal or the little tang on the bottom that actually holds it in the connector? Do you approach with the tool from the back or front?

The "tang" from the front (don't forget to bend it back up before re-inserting the pin) make sure you push the terminal fully in from the back when bending the tang
If you don't want to fiddle and make your own tool something like the below should be all you will ever need for this task
EDIT: I can see you have a selection of de-pinning tools, the only thing I would say is the ones "top left" in the set I posted are "tubes" which are intended for releasing round pins

what motorcycle is the wire harness?  are those terminals stock?  looks like non-stock bullets were stuffed into a spade type connector. I could be wrong though. the plastic connectors on my motorcycle have spade terminals.
