Yellow/red is power to coils on my 900/1000’s. Without seeing a wiring diagram for your bike I can only guess it’s a wired George coil relay. It would make sense the one wire would go to battery positive. Has there been a schematic posted for your bike yet?

i’m wondering if this is the case  photo one W/R  is the positive which connects to the regulator.

Photo two Pinky is the other end ofW/R
End next to the fuse box thumb comes out of the Fuse box , splits with one side, going to the starter relay? The other side of the split is supposed to connect to the battery… I guess I’ll check Continuity?

I hope one of the moderators will snag that pic of the wiring diagram for the P bikes as the one presently posted in the Articles section appears to be for the GpZ1100. It would be nice if KZR could get a high resolution copy of the whole P bike service manual for members to use.

OK the below should get you started with your power supplies from the battery (apologies for it being a bit messy, didn't have a lot of time), obviously being a "P" there is a lot of extra wiring so look carefully at the diagram before connecting anything you aren't sure about

I think it would be good to remember that in addition the extra wiring Kawasaki installed on the P bikes, some departments added their own, um, creative wiring sometimes.
