thanks mikaw electrics are not my strong point ,i was sat here last night thinking about this then rememberd  i have a new wire loom for the bile i got from z power a few years back so maybe its time to use it ill dig it out that might be a plan .
Depending on what you find the new loom might be "cracking a nut with a sledgehammer" (although a nice option to have) you can initially break it down in chunks - connect your red voltmeter lead to battery positive and probe with the black meter lead ( seems strange but what you are doing is measuring the difference in voltage between the battery and the test point) all tests should be done with everything connected and the ignition switched on (be careful of overheating the coils) then carry out the below tests and let me know what you get
  1. Probe the brown wire coming out of the ignition switch
  2. Probe the white wire going into the ignition switch
  3. Probe the input side of the 20amp fuse (red/white)
  4. Probe the output side of the 20amp fuse (white wire)
  5. Probe the brown wire at the regulator/rectifier
Let me know what you get at each point (none should be more than 0.5v) and will advise you what to do next
EDIT: Looking at the diagram I am assuming you have fitted the whole BB system including coils, so this set up fires both coils in series as each pick passes (twice per revolution) I have only seen this type of set up in cars previously. interesting and with the direct coil feed it encompasses the theory behind the by-pass relay

The voltage path between the battery and your brake switch is fine.
0.20v is below 0.50v

With the engine off yes you will show 10.2-10.8v but once the engine is running the voltage will be closer to 12.8v
