ignition

I'm building a 76 KZ 900 bought a motor that is built and has marktek44ok ignition and three wires coming from it Yellow, Red,and Black how can i check which wires are the trigger and connect to the black and green wire on the coils. The third wire should hook to what? If anyone has one of these older ignition system and could give me some direction it would be much appreciated.
