Speedometer Damper 92075-1315. KZ1100 A2. 1982.

Hi all,
I’m new to the group, so by way of introduction, I have been living in Oman up until 2 months ago, just settling now in Comrie, Fife.
I owned two KZ 1100 A2s 1982 & 1983. Sold one on leaving Oman so now down to one which has been my project for 20 years.
I am currently working to register my bike in U.K. and one of the requirements is for an MPH speedometer.
I am having an MPH dial face made together with a tachometer dial.
I desperately need two replacement dampers Pt No 92075-1315 as both mine have disintegrated over time.
I noted from earlier forum topics that I’m not the only one to discover that these dampers are obsolete and impossible to get.
If anyone could kindly help me to find a supplier or any help by way of a siutable alternative suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately they are not available to order from there.
Did send them an email to ask about availability just in case.

It may be a good thing it is NLA. At $49.95 +frt a pair, it may have not been a big seller.. considering that in some of my google searches popped with the same part number for $3.49 in years gone by. I could use a new set of these for my old kaw too, just not quite that bad.

I have received a very prompt and helpful email from Nippon Nirinsha. Their website had a bug and the item is in fact available, I have a set already on the way from their base in Melbourne.

I sent an email to them today after reading the sad news, and have not received a reply yet.

Looking forward to reviewing an update post with your impressions of the dampers when you get them.

Received my dampers. They look great and I'm very pleased with their quality. Just waiting for a set of new dials before I install them and put the meters back together.
