Not to be picky, but how was this issue resolved? Or was it resolved?

So far it has not heen resolved as yet.
I cant even get a readout on ohmeter from supposedly replacement pickup coill while cranking motor. I get a statioary ohm reading of 500 ohms, and nothing on one that I remived from bike so...
If I cant get pickip coul to supply an impulsethen it won't activate ignition module to do anything!!!

Hi I haven't had the time to get back to this project. I did have voltage to the ignition coils, and if i recall to the igniter/ignition module. Been a while since I was tinkering with it.
Still trying to sort out the pin configurations on the electrical connector and the ignition module to make sure I have the correct connections. I have a shop manual as well as a pinout for the module. It was suggested to me by someone else to try n replace the ignition coil. I did see an exact (image) of a pickup coil here online a while back but don't see one available anymore. i had obtained a replacement from a local bike shop but the outside case looked different than the OEM one. The OEM one didn't produce any resistance reading which is why I considered replacing it as well as the ignition module was obviously toast. Still lookin for answers.

Well if my bike has points I haven't found 'em yet, I have a little black box under the tank which has Ignition Unit stamped on it Type TID 11-01 Hitachii Ltd. Tokyo Japan 1025 111.
So whatever ignition system this bike has is not points, and inside left side cover there's a pickup coil...
Still tryin to navigate what's wrong and what to replace to get spark. I have current to coil with key on, I have replace the pickup coil which had no ohm reading, I've replaced ignition unit with aftermarket unit (still deciphering the pinout connections)
