I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

Z1's have one fuse for the entire bike.

One fuse for all your lights is fine from an electrical perspective. The most reasonable explanation I’ve heard for separate is you wouldn’t want your tail light to go out should something happen to your turn signal system that causes the fuse to blow.

True. Also, you REALLY would not want your headlight to go dark while you're riding at night on a dark, curvy road! (guess how I know). So since you are setting up your own fuse configuration you may want to consider running the headlight on its own dedicated fuse. Ed
