How to wire aftermarket speedometer tachometer.

Here is the wiring diagram I made to make it plug and play, please excuse the sloppy writing. I have noticed those speedos sometimes have different coloring wiring, hopefully yours is the same.

For the 9 pin connector looks like this:

right directional
high beam
lights
left directional
tach
negative
fuel sender if equipped
acc ON positive
???

GR harness if for a gear indicator

Actually I have everything working well on the speedometer side. I’m just having little trouble getting the tachometer to work. I’ll do another look through to see what’s up.

Yo, looking for how you got your wiring to work with that gauge. I have nothing worth the wiring schematic to my 82 KZ 1000 LTD cop edition and nothing works except the damn headlight regular light and bright indicator on this pos gauge. Please help!

I ended up trashing it and going with a dime city cycles mini speedometer. Totally worth the money very happy with it.
