There are several diagrams for a 1000 B3 in the filebase. Hover over "Filebase" and click on "Kz Documents". Follow the links till you get to Kz1000 electrical. There are 3 pages of diagrams. Page 1 has a colorized version.

Yes a 1000.....1979 LTD "B3". I have looked thru the file-base and not the schematics i need. The only 79 in there is for a bike with breaker points, mine has pickup coils. Maybe its identified wrong or its an "A" and not a "B". The 1980 B4 in Chinese has the turn signal control unit which I don't have

Your correct.....'78 and up had factory electronics ignition.... voltage Reg and rectifier were one unit and no more head light switch unless euro..... after '78. I'm sure I have a diagram at the shop. I'll check tomorrow when I get to work. Most of the wiring is the same as the older bikes. The '78/79 had the MKII engine. Had a bigger crankshaft and different alternator. Still a 3 phase but totally different design.
