I use the new, sealed AGM blinkers... never have to check the level.

Yes,I heard they are good but quite expensive though. Im saving my money for a set of the newer, also expensive, Liquid Electron Design, or LED's as theyre more commonly known.

Ha ha ha. I probably had it coming with my hat in hand beg for electrical help... New to KZ400 and was thinking there my be a known issue/quick fix..
I have mech. skills but like many shade tree guys, whose IQ drops a third at the mere mention of electrons, hate diagnosing these issues. I'll learn :-)

RE: Blinker Fluid
An imaginary liquid used in automobiles (to make the blinkers work). This term is used as a sarcastic remark toward someone who knows ablsolutely nothing about cars.

Just welcoming in the new guy... good luck on the 400. They are pretty hearty bikes. I'm sure you'll get it going without too much trouble. Follow Steve's (swest) advice first as it's best to check the simple, free stuff first. And post a pic when you get a chance. It's often easier for us to remember who is who based on a bike photo.

My buddy, who works on many bikes, can't remember anyone's name, but he can tell you exactly what they ride, and what they've done to their bike. LOL
