Spark is bad on cylinders 2 and 4, which work from different coils. I think wires are bad.
Both coils have infinite resistance checked from wire to wire.

I think you can remove and replace the wires on some/most KZ's. If the wires go into an acorm shaped nut, usually you can unscrew that nut and pull the wire out.

I think some people replaced wires on some coils that were not designed to be replaced.

But if the coils are that old, you probably will come out ahead to replace them entirely.

Yeah, I've done it and was planning to do it again but I said WTF, why? I just got new coils.

I repaired one of wires just by cutting off about 1/2". Unfortunately it didn't work for another coil. I got 26 k Ohms on both but 2nd cyl still has intermittent spark. I heated up coil and covered it with RTV, maybe it will help.
Worst case scenario I'll get used automotive coil with wires and connector, something like that:

There's a guy on another forum who installed a Buick Grand National ignition coil pack onto several of his motorcycles, including the 82 ELR & 79 CB750F. no wiring specifics were provided.

Wiring is very simple. 3 pins, one of them is common (ign +), two others are wires grounded by ign. module, one for each coil.
Common pin has equal resistance to 2 other wires.
Automotive coil can increase voltage up to 20kV. The only problem is resistance of primary coil should match resistance of bike coil + resistor.
BTW, I fixed everything, I was just using spark tester with 4mm gap, tester gap should be close to spark plug gap.
Automotive spark can jump 1/2", bike spark is low voltage, probably 5kV

Motorcycle spark voltages are higher than automotive voltages. Always have been.
