I have a few random electrical problems that I am confused about.
I installed a LED H4 headlamp and the headlamp fuse immediately blows. With a regular H4 halogen bulb, the fuse does not blow.
Also
The turn signal indicators (the arrows at the top of the cluster that contains the Neutral and HiBeam indicators) flash dimly, and at the same time when either L or R turn signal is selected. The turn signals themselves work fine, and the 4 way flashers work fine.

Does this happen only when the LED is installed?

I suspect the LED unit is wired wrong. Is this a Chinese made item? Their quality varies from piece to piece.

I have a normal halogen head light and LED's for running lights and turn signals. They seem to effect the brake light system. I don't know why.

This is the bulb I used.

I was looking for an inexpensive LED for daytime running light purposes. This bike is only ridden in daylight this time of year.

The LED bulb could be defective & shorting itself, causing the fuse to low.
Try connecting the LED directly to the battery. I would use long wire leads & take any safety precautions that would seem appropriate. I guess I would disconnect the battery from the motorcycle, hard-wire wires to the LED, connect the hot wire to the battery pos (+), then touch the neg wire lead to battery neg (-): that way, if the LED starts smoking or something, you can disconnect quickly. Or maybe have a jumper on the battery neg (-) & touch the neg LED wire to the battery jumper, keeping any sparks away from the battery.
