I too have a need to restore my gages on 79 kz1000. Too bad they are in the US. Anyone know of a really good gauge restorer in Canada?

Not Canada, but there's a guy in the UK who has been mentioned here on KZR & who supposedly does top notch work, but I don't recall his name. I tried a ggooogle search & found a name that seems familiar, but I don't know if it's the same guy or not.

Bob Harrington of Z-Resto does a superior job but if you want to do it yourself and basically just clean the glass, here is a link to my tech library on my website:

These are great suggestions. Unfortunately, the previous owner stuck a cell phone holder or something on the tach. I tried to remove it and the most horrible sound - the glass shattered.

Anyone know where I can get just the glass replacement?
